We're trying to figure out what location to request for our Bonnet Creek one-bedroom villa. What are the prime locations?

Thanks!

I think that this will be based on personal preference, and there's no guarantee that you will get what you request. The only thing I would not like ( and this is theoretical) would be a room on the ground floor.

I planned and strategized about trying to figure out the best room for our situation, didnt get what we wanted and it still turned our great.

I was wondering also since this will be out first time staying here in April but I guess I will just take whatever but I would not want the ground floor either!!

What are the disadvantages of having a ground floor unit? I know the wyndham we stayed at in california you were able to exit your patio on the ground floor unites which would be nice for easier pool access, but not sure about bonnet creek.

The advantage is = to the person's preference.

I prefer a high floor ... for the view.

Someone else may prefer a ground floor (lower) for various reasons.

my2cents ... simplified reasoning.

My concern would be foot traffic noise and the communal aspect of balcony. If you don't like elevators it would be great. I'm not saying that ground floor units are bad, they are just not for me.

Are there certain buildings that have better views?

Certain buildings that are more convenient if renting a car and driving to the parks every day?

Certain buildings that are more convenient to the best pools (what are the best pools, anyway)?

Thanks!

We have stayed 4 times and always requested the main building as I wanted a guarantee that I wouldn't be on a high floor. I also loved the hotel feel. Then last year we didn't get our first choice and ended up in a 3rd floor unit in Tower 4. We we really disappointed whilst walking over to the tower and thought that we would request a move after a week as we were there for 3 weeks. Anyway, turns out we loved tower 4 as we really love the pool outside. Also by not staying in the main building I found that we didn't keep going to the computer room and wasting time online when we should be out in the sun. So this year I am going to request low floor in same building again. I love the building because its very close to all the main pools and the new hotel pool.

Hi. Is anyone willing to suggest which building/floor request would fulfille this:

1. Near lazy river pool
2. Miniature golf
3. View of theme parks and resorts from balcony, but fireworks view not necessary. We would like to see as much as we can, day or night.

Would building 3 or 4 do this? I get so confused when I read all the different posts about views and room locations.

Coming for 10 nights in November/December, first time offsite since the 80's!

We stayed in Tower One this past week on the fifth floor and loved the convenience to the bus stop, if you are planning to use that service. Also at 9:00pm they would open up the seventh floor presidential suite so you could go and view the fireworks for Epcot. It wasnt far from the playground area for our little boy either. It was nice and we would stay in that tower again.

I prefer to stay in buildings 1-3 mostly due to the parking situation. There are plenty of spaces for those buildings. With the other buildings, it is pretty tight and you usually have to park in a garage, which I hate. Makes for a longer walk. I usually request fifth floor or higher in two or three and end up with a nice golf course view.

I haven't stayed yet at WBC (will be there in 7 weeks), but I have a lot of experience with ground floor condos at Westgate Lakes.

There are Pros and Cons of the ground floor.

Pros:

No waiting on elevators
Easy access (typically) from patio to pool areas
No lugging of heavy bags up stairs or elevators
Quick in and out from room to car

Cons:

No privacy!!! With all of the foot traffic on the resort grounds people can easily see in your room (whether they are trying to or not). Since most of these condos have an "open" layout with the master bedroom/bath, you have to close all of the blinds and shades just to take a shower.

THe lazy river and the miniature golf are on opposite sides of the resort. You would need to decide what would be more important to you. Building 1/2 near gold, I believe 5 is near the lazy river.

Okay thanks for the clarification.
