Bonnet Creek-preserve?

I heard there was a wilderness area at Bonnet Creek Resort. Does anyone know anything about this? If there is, do they allow non-guests to access it, or only guests? We're birders, and although we're staying at OKW, we'd love to access it. We've been to Disney's Wilderness Preserve, but that's a 1/2 hour away. We'd rather a short drive-heck, we've even birded at Fort Wilderness Campground. Does anyone know the chances of us using the BC wilderness preserve, if there is one?

It loosley gets its name from a water way that ran through the disney property before all the canals and water diversions were made.

The wooded area surrounding the osprey ridge golf course is all thats left of the "bonnet creek nature prserve" and a small ffinger that runs paralel to Bonnet creek pkwy.

no real place to go visit. but you are all around it.

it also includes the large untouched wooded area behind bay lake.
