Bonnet Creek Pool Question

For those of you who have stayed at Bonnet Creek, could you please tell me if they supply towels (and how big) at the pools? Am trying to decide if they do have them, are they large enough or do I need to pack a beach size towel for each of us. Thanks!

They supply the towels and they are nice big towels. You won't have to bring your own.

We were there the week of 6/28. They do supply towels, but they would run out of towels by late afternoon and they were not replaced. This happened at the two pools we went to. As far as the size, there were two different towels in the cart. The striped towels were larger (and people would dig in the cart for these) and the white towels were average bath size. I would bring your own, just in case.

Interesting. That hasn't been our experience the last two days. I'll keep an eye on this.

Every day we seemed to get a phone message asking people to "please leave the towels at the pool. Do not take the towels from the pool." Crazy! Who does this??

For what it's worth, the Escudos pool this evening had a fresh batch of towels brought down between 7 and 8PM (and had plenty of towels available at 7PM). The only message I've gotten on my phone this week was from maintenance that they'd be entering my unit to replace the air filter and check for any burned out bulbs.

Thanks, Brian, for the info. We are going to take our chances and not pack beach towels. Would prefer to save the room and weight for souvenirs instead. One more question, if I may. Do the 2 br 2 ba units have internet access and if so, is there an additional charge? We leave in just 16 hrs. and are debating if we should bring the laptop or not. Thanks again for your information. Very helpful. Hope you are having a good time!

to answer the question on the internet.. I have heard (not been there yet, but will be 8/9) they have free wired internet in the units..some units can pick up wireless but not all. If someone can confirm this, please do so.. I would also like to know for sure... I am thinking of bringing 2 lap-tops.. if it is wired, it might not make sense to bring 2.. would there be wiring for 2?

Just got home, and had a *great* time.

Internet is wired, no charge. I would not bring a second laptop unless you have a travel router. I didn't notice any performance issues---snappy service even in the evenings when everyone is back from the parks and online.

We did bring our beach towels, but we spent the week mostly at the waterparks. With the washer/dryer, we only brought 3-4 days worth of clothes, so we still had only three suitcases for the four of us, including the towels.

thanks for the answer.. I should have checked here before asking you again on the other thread about the 2nd laptop.. I don't have a travel router. I will see if I can borrow one from a friend of mine... if not, I will leave the second laptop home
