Review Bonnet Creek great trip

Just returned from a week at Wyndham Bonnet Creek - my parents booked with their points, and joined us there. We were in the 2nd building on the left from main building (don't remember names) - 12th floor - 1273, we did not get the EPCOT view, but our view was great (we just ignored the construction). We could see the EPCOT fireworks from the window beside the elevators. We used the shuttles to Disney for two days and they were always time. The times were the same as a previous poster had poste. It was very cold, so we did not use the pool or minature golf.

Glad you enjoyed your trip. I've most wanted to hear about the shuttles. I looked for the previous poster that you referred to, but didn't find anything giving shuttle times. We are a family of six and will definitely be coming and going at different times of the day. And - even if we do have a car - my DH actually LIKES to use Disney transportation so he can go back to the room and rest.

Would you elaborate a little on the shuttle? did you catch it at the TTC to return to the resort? Years ago they had the wait lines in the middle of the parking lot to wait for your shuttle back to the offsite resorts. Still like that? Did they have set pick-up times? Seems I read somewhere the buses came about every 30 minutes.

I will try to find the printout and scan in. We only used the shuttle to EPCOT and DHS, and used the return from EPCOT both times so I'm not sure where they were at AK and MK. They were in the parking lots further away from the Disney busses, but we were really only steps away from the POP bus stop at EPCOT. They are not as frequent as Disney, but I hate to pay $12 to park.

That'd be great! Were they complimentary or was a fee charged for the shuttles?

The shuttles were free, but they did have a note saying tips appreciated.

Thanks for this info! We just book Bonnet Creek for the end of November into December. We are so excited. Do you know anything about the babysitting options? My DH and I want to go out by ourselves for a night or two.
I was also curious about the buses. Thanks for that info. Not sure if we will rent a car or not.

I don't know if Bonnet Creek has childcare, but there is a service that is sanctioned by Disney called Kids Nite Out. Just Google it and their site comes up first. It's a little pricey but I'd rather go with an established company than just some random person. Good luck!
