Bongos - Substitute Fries for Rice

Very picky eater with food allergies and a couple of sensitivities.
I generally do great at Disney. Others want to try Bongos and my only issue is that every entree comes with white rice and black beans. Like the black beans but total taste aversion to rice.

Anyone have Bongos not allow subbing of fries for rice? Or have no trouble doing it?

They are generally very good with substitutions. I've traded sides before (sweet plantains for green plantains or plantain chips). I *think* my son got fries instead of rice with his kids meal.
