the person who owned the land back in the 60's found out that Disney was buying the land.
he raised his price from $100 a acre to $1,000 an acre.
Disney decided that they didn't need that property.....
Fairfield does not own the land. A developer does and he is trying to attract top grade hotels. but they aren't coming. However with the economy rapidly improving -hopefully he will attract some.
It is not on Disney property.
has none of the Disney guest priviledges.
it has free transportation but like most off site - only 3 or 4 times in the morning and evening. You have to reserve it 24 hours before you need it. Not WDW transportation that comes at least every 20 minutes.
