Watching CNN; David Gergen just said that Wright really didn't mean what he said, we are just not hearing it the same way blacks would and that Wright probably "loves America". I am certainly thankful that I am lucky enough to have a talking head explain that I did not hear what I heard.

Obama was just on Hannity & Colmes. Obama said he never heard any of the 'hate talk' when he was at the church. I can't believe that Obama, who refers his pastor as 'like an uncle to me', never knew that Rev Wright was filled with so much hate for white people and America in general.

I would think that Obama would have gotten up and walked out of a sermon that had so much hate for white people, after all, his mother is white and she raised him alone since he was 2 and his father left.
