I am curious to know if anyone is familiar with Ethiopian food and if Boma serves anything similar?

Boma serves a partially rotating menu, that covers most regions of Africa. My niece was in Ethiopia, and the FruFru was native, as is the quinoa. The chefs are happy to talk to you about where the dishes originated, many from their native countries. We love the diversity of the dishes.

I adore Ethiopian food. It is my favorite ethnic cuisine.

You will be disappointed if that is what you are looking for. There is no doro wat, no kale and potatoes, no injera and nothing like it at all.

However, there is bobotie, and that is quite nice. There are many other dishes that are savory and good, but nothing like true Ethiopian.

I really enjoy the Moroccan seafood stew/chowder. I like the fufu (mashed sweet potato with white potato) but I loathe the potatoes with Afritude (just wrong)! LOL.

There will be many nice dishes for you to choose from and they do a good job on representing much of the Continent while avoiding the spicier regions.
