Love it or Hate it
EEYOREMAMA said:Honestly, that's a tough call.
I hate waiting out in the lobby for a table, when I arrive early.
I am not always happy with the dinner choices or food quality. Very inconsistent.
The restaurant is usually extremely noisy, even though there are generally less children there, than other restaurants. Acustics, I guess.
I've eaten there at least 8 times, but if I don't again, I'll live. I'd rather have a quiet, civilized, gourmet meal at Jiko. I guess I'm a bit spoiled, but I'll live.

We are people who like trying new things and from what I read at the DisBoards, was expecting something amazing. I'm suprised just how many people love Boma. There were many dissatified faces in the restaurants. The desserts were ok, but nothing outstanding. The Zebra domes were good, but taste like something i've had. I can't imagine younger children liking it.
I've heard that criticism several times, and honestly I'm puzzled by it. Neither DH (meat-eater) nor I (vegetarian) noticed the same spice in everything both times we ate dinner there. I tried a little of absolutely everything veggie on the buffet, which is a lot. DH had quite a few items as well. I think we would have noticed.Demosthenes said:Love it for Breakfast (and I voted that way because the breakfast is so good), but I don't care to return for dinner. I know this may sound wierd, but I found the dinner buffet boring. All of the food had similar spices, so it seemed like I was trying the same thing over and over again. Not that it was bad, just boring.
