Boma - which meal?

If you had to choose a meal (breakfast, dinner) to eat at Boma, which would you chose? We've never been there, so I need some input from all of you Boma lovers!!

I am trying breakfast in a week, and based on the reviews on the boards, it is a must do. We are looking forward to it. On the other hand, I think the Boma dinner is as good as anywhere. I enjoyed everything about it. My children and DW didn't care for the meal though - they thought it was too weird. You won't find a more beautiful setting though. I think you should do both! I can't imagine the breakfast could be better than the dinner, but I will find out soon.

Breakfast is basic breakfast food (ie, eggs, meat, juice, etc). Dinner has a wide variety of food. I always go for food. I can get eggs cheaper and this is a non character restaraunt.

Your suggestion is making me rethink this...Maybe I will sneak down there for dinner (without my picky family) and enjoy that dinner again. Yum.:rotfl:

We have only done dinner. the first time it was very crowded, but the food was great I could eat soup & dessert & be very happy. the 2nd time it was not as crowded & it was the same great food. but we are hoping to try breakfast next trip.

I've done both. I really enjoyed the breakfast. They have made-to-order omlets, as well as a large variety of other breakfast foods. Be sure to ask for the Jungle Juice.
If you're looking for something really different though, it's not really different. It's a nice breakfast buffet.

The dinner is different. I don't care for the taste of the meats or the side dishes. However, there are some good soups and salad dressings...one of the soups tastes like pumpkin pie...yum! :) They also have several flavors of hummice (sp) that were good with the flat cracker bread and several kinds of fruit. There is certainly a large variety and you're sure to find something you like, even for picky eaters or those who just find themselves like me and not caring for certain items.

I've done both and thought both were excellent, but I preferred dinner. I think solely based on the soups- they really are just sooooo good.

The good thing about breakfast is if you go nice and early, it can be fairly empty, while both times I went for dinner it was a complete zoo!

BOMA diner is the only must do for me and is usually the only ADR I do ahead of time. Don't worry about pick eaters, there are plenty of non-exotic choices there. They have a kids area with the standard Disney kids food. On my last two solo trips I had friends from Tampa meet me there and they were all speculative of liking the food. Every songle one of them loved it and have been back since.

I have never done the breakfast but they have some healthier options so if you have someone in your party that would rather have oatmeal or fruit than waffles and bacon it is a good chioce.

Breakfast is our favorite, we tried dinner there and it was ick

We have also done both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was pretty typical breakfast buffet so we were a bit disappointed. Dinner was fantastic. We are all adventerous when it comes to food and Boma dinner is our only "must do" for every trip.
