For those who have eaten both places, are they similar as far as types/flavors of food? TIA

We haqve been to both and I like Boma Better. I just think they have a better atmosphere and food is more original.

They have a similar style of food but with different flavours.
Tusker has more Indian inspired flavours, whereas Boma has more North African flavours. I preferred Boma slightly but I like the sweet, dried fruits and cinammon flavours/ingredients that a lot of the Boma dishes had. Both had loads of vegetarian dishes which was great for me!

I would agree that Boma has a better theme/atmosphere too.

Boma hands down! The food and the atmosphere are better. Be prepared for different foods at Boma, but, for those who prefer the basic American fare, it is available. We cannot wait to go back.

Have fun!

For breakfast, we loved them both. But if I had to choose one, regardless of where we were going, it would be Boma.

For dinner, I would do either Boma or Sanaa (we loved Sanaa!!)

Have done both Boma and Tusker House and we hated Boma. We much prefer Tusker House. Boma was too loud, crowded and there wasn't much we liked there. Tusker House was much better and we found things we really liked.

They are similar, but I felt like TH had more "american" choices whereas Boma really went all out with the African theme while still having enough familiar stuff for my picky family to enjoy. Boma is my FAVORITE place to eat dinner!
