Our family dined at Boma this past Sept. and didn't really care for the seasoning on many of the dishes. Is it safe to assume that we wouldn't care for Tusker House lunch/dinner food? For those of you who have dined at both, did you find the offerings similar in flavors? :confused3

We ate at Tusker House in May 2008...really, really enjoyed it. There are some slightly exotic dishes there (couscous on the salad bar for example) But the majority of the foods are much, much closer to the typical American buffet choices. There were a few interesting choices, yes. But many just fairly standard Disney buffet choices. We found many, many dishes to our liking. Would not put Tusker House in the same category as Boma at all (course many will tell you Boma's the good one, and Tusker is nothing.:) )

We ate at Boma in September and did not like it all. Way too crowded, set up poorly for buffet access and the foods were by & large not to our tastes at all. Either completely, over-the-top spicey or totally bland & tasteless. Or just plain odd (JMHO) food combinations. Desserts were o.k., but wouldn't return just for the desserts. Beautiful resort...yuck on the foods.

We did not like Boma dinner either so we will not be trying TH dinner....we do love Y&Y though so if you like that type of food I say try it.

Since we love Boma breakfast I am very interested in trying TH breakfast.
