I just snagged a reservation for a Boma breakfast. I didn't think it was anything to miss, but I keep seeing rave reports on the breakfast so I thought "what the hey", I'll try it. I have a ressie for Fresh OR Boma. My question is this. How long does it take to get to Boma from the YC? If my reservation is at 7:40 AM how do I get there?:confused3 Still trying to decide if I want to go all the way over to AKL for a breakfast or stick with my Fresh reservation. The day this is happening is a day we decided to lounge at the YC and swim until we have our lunch ressie at WGP in DTD before La Nouba. What would y'all do? TIA!!!:goodvibes

To get to a resort that early in the morning your only option is a taxi. There are early buses running to get guest to early morning reservations at the parks, but even if you got to AK you would then need to get another bus to AKL and I wouldn't count on buses running tha early and frequently.

I would use a taxi.

Buses run about 2 hours before park opening so you should be ok. I would say take the bus to AK then hop on the akl bus. Allow 45 min at the min.

Really taking a taxi is easier but more $$$. On the good side the swan is not too far from AKL not like the MK resorts anyway.

The only thing I have found is the early morning bueses are very infrequent...we have waited more than a half hour for one to AK for breakfast.

Last week the buses didn't start running until 8am at our hotel, and the parks opened at 9. To be safe, definitely take a taxi.

OK, I just called and verifyed ALL my ressies to make sure they were all there AND I changed my ressie at Boma from 7:40 am to 8:40 am. Now there should be NO problem getting there! And my DH and DD shouldn't be upset with getting up so early! :cool1:

Now.....I AM going to put these reservations away until I get to WDW! I swear!!!! :rotfl:

What...:confused3 you don't believe me??? :lovestruc

Boma is incredible ~ it's worth the extra effort to go there, and the AK Lodge is a great place to visit too.

I LOVE dinner there too, and breakfast is wonderful ~ the best we've had pretty much anywhere, and we go to nice brunches at resorts quite often too.

The omelets are super and make sure to try the juice they make, fruice?

Enjoy, and good luck with your ressies ~ it's almost impossible to leave them alone:rotfl:

I just have to stay off the boards and quit reading all the reviews and I'd be fine. I guess I did it ok so far. I made all my ressies at my 180 day mark and haven't really touched them until the last couple weeks! Now I swear I will not touch them again (it's too much of a headache to juggle all this!) It was driving me mad. I was up tossing and turning all night last night about this one breakfast! Good grief! Enough is enough.....I have a ton of variety and character meals and everything, I think we'll be fine now!:thumbsup2 I just have to stay off the restaurant board! :rotfl:

Thanks everyone for all your help!
