Hi all,

I know people have said that even picky eaters can find things at Boma to eat. I am EXTREMELY picky and not big on spicy/hot food and am now second guessing our ressie there, but DH wants to try it on our upcoming trip. Do they have the prime rib at the carving station every night? I know at least I'd probably like that.

THANKS!

Ty

To my knowledge they do, unless the chef makes a ****oo. You can make a ressie and then call that day to confirm that PR is on the selection. Then you can cancel or confirm your ressie.

We ate there twice on our recent trip and they had prime rib both nights as well as many other things which weren't spicy at all - ribs, salmon, great salads and vegetable dishes and a superb dessert table. This was one of our favourite meals and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I come from the UK and love spicy food but I found the food at Boma wasn't really all that spicy just not as plain as a lot of American food. :) Give it a go, I'm sure you'll love it :thumbsup2

I don't like spicy food at all. Mild chicken wings cause me to sweat. I love Boma. Beside the prime rib, try their chicken. I loved that. Also, their salads are awesome. The dressings sound really strange but I was told on our first trip there to combine two of them and it's fantastic. And you can always get some things from the more pedestrian "kids" station like mac and cheese. Go to Boma just for the desserts. I get one with every trip to the buffet. I don't wait until the end when I'm stuffed.

You should really try Boma! We weren't so sure before and skipped it -- almost didn't go on our last trip, too. We are so glad we did! My daughter, who cant stand anything remotely spicy, loved Boma and wants to go back.

There are great soups and salads (lots to choose from) that aren't spicy. The prime rib isn't spicy -- there's just a tasty rub on the outside. The desserts were great. We tried almost everything there (just a taste) because it was so interesting.

If you really dont like it, they have amazing mac and cheese and chicken strips there just in case.

It really is worth a try!

I know at least elsewhere disney hassorta cut back on the changed at buffets, and they now have mostly the same main items every night.

I have always seen the prime rib on the menu. It's so good too! The slightly spicy sweet sour mustard is excellent with it.

I say give it a try. You should be able to find something on the buffet to eat. It's my favorite buffet and we eat there two times each trip. The soups are out of this world.

It's a buffet staple. I would have a hard time thinking they wouldn't offer it each evening, unless something unforeseen happened.

1) Every time we've eaten at Boma's, it's been on the buffet. No worries on that one, I think.

2) Most of the food on the buffet is spicy, but not spicy as in "hot and spicy" (there are a couple of selections that are, of course). The food is spicy in that there are a lot of spices used (cardamon, cinnamon, corriander, ginger, tumeric, cumin, garlic, curry, etc), not necessarily because it has a high (or any) "heat index".

:)

Thanks so much everyone - I think we'll keep the ressie.

Ty
