I know this has probably been asked a dozen times and if so I apologize. We ate at O'hana for dinner on our last trip and it was one of our favorite meals, but this time we were hoping to try some different rest. I had read a lot of good reviews for Boma, but now it seems I am reading more mixed reviews so I am rethinking my plans and wondering if I should switch to O'hana.

We like the food at O'hana and like the atmosphere, races, etc. But I also liked the idea of visiting the AKL and wondering around to see the animals outside. We are not picky eaters either.

I wish we could do an early ADR for Boma for breakfast then tour the AKL - but then again I don't want to waste park time and when you are on the DDP, I also hate to pay out of pocket for a meal ( I don't want to use my TS that day for b-fast)..... this is my delima - can anyone offer their thoughts? Between the 2 what would be your pick?

Boma is good for breakfast & diner. Remember everbody on these boards have different opinions. I say it's good to try everything at least once to see for yourself.

Boma is worth trying once. My DH and kids still love it but I feel the quality has declined over the years. I prefer Boma breakfast to dinner.

Since you've already tried 'Ohana, definitely keep your plans to try Boma. It's nice to try all kinds of things!

I vote Boma too. It's definitely worth trying and I think one of the hidden gems at WDW... we love the food there pooh:

Honestly, you can't go wrong with either one. They are both great restaurants. I would agree with pp if you have tried 'Ohana and not Boma, you should give Boma a shot. I really enjoy both restaurants and will put them on my list of to do's when we go back, adding Boma breakfast in as well.

Another vote for "both are good", but I would give Boma a try. AKL is really worth a visit in itself and dinner at Boma is a nice perk to the visit. Ohana has not been so great the last few times we have been there, not bad by any means, but not great.
