Boma or Jiko?

I can't decide which to go to. Boma is my favorite Disney dining ever. But I've never tried Jiko. I don't want to venture out to AKL twice (staying at YC), I'm looking forward to Boma, but is it worth it to try Jiko instead? Ah!! Decisions!!

I have not been to Boma, but Jiko is my favorite spot in Disney. I don't think you would be disappointed in Jiko.

I guess it depends on what makes Boma your favorite.

We had reservations once and when we showed up, it just seemed to be chaos... lots of people moving around between tables, and LOTS of screaming kids. We cancelled and walked over to Jiko where we had a great, quiet meal. I like the peace after running around all day.

The food at Jiko can be a little exotic- but that's what I like. We specifically try different things that we wouldn't find elsewhere. Overall, the Chef seems to be excellent.

I also like that their wines are different- they usually let you taste a few of their recomendations. Some are terrible, some are great.. it's fun trying.

I would at least try Jiko. It's our favorite Disney restaurant but I will admit it may not be everyone's cup of tea. It's somewhat exotic foods... but some great dishes with unique and tasty flavors! I found my favorite wine at Jiko on our honeymoon... I won't tell you what I had to go through to get it back at home! We eat there every Disney trip we take.

Jiko is phenomenal. Food, service, ambience. And the South African wines -- choose one that please your particular palate -- are wonderful.

I tried both, and I prefer Jiko hands down. Boma is good....but Jiko is way better. And the decor of the restaurant is beautiful. One of our favorite restaurants at WDW.
