Hi Dining Experts!

Tell me about BOMA for breakfast! We have never eaten there and since we are staying at Jambo it only makes sense to try it out! How early do they open? How's the kenyan coffee? Is there enough bacon for a bacon lovers table like ours???! What african specialities should we try?

It is the best way to start your day. Boma breakfast is the best! I doubt you'll be disappointed!

Boma breakfast is one of our favorite ways to end our trip. We get ADR's for midmorning, check out of our rooms and then head to AKL to savor one last meal in Disney. It keeps us full for the whole travel :thumbsup2day.

They have almost anything you could wish. You can ask them to make you an omelet with any ingredients you want, you can get assorted "normal" breakfast foods off of several pods (what they call their buffet groupings), you can eat pastries and sweets to your hearts content, gobble down many different fruits from apples, oranges, grapefruit, bananas and/or assorted melons, or try something different and sample the many different African based dishes on the far right side of the pods.

This far right pod, as you face the foods, has a huge fire grill that cooks very large chunks of meat like pork loin or ham. They have many different sauces for the meats also.

They also serve several grain dishes like quinoa, oatmeal, pap. Try the corn beef bobotie for an unusual treat for your morning taste buds.

The coffee is good and plentiful and the Frunch is a great alternative to the usual OJ. Frunch has lemonade, pineapple juice, guava juice, orange juice, and papaya juice all mixed together in one refreshing drink! It is one of my favorites!

If you have time after breakfast wonder around the resort and check out the many viewing areas for the animals. There is a fun one just beyond the main pool area that can be reached by leaving Boma and heading out the outside doors on the left side of the exit for the restaurant.

Enjoy your meal there and try a dinner there one day too. The soups are to dream of in your dreams between trips!:goodvibes
