Boma breakfast?

Looking to book this breakfast, any thoughts? We were thinking with the more diverse menu there might be less kids, which is what we're looking for? Is the AKL really out of the way?

We booked at the Boma for the breakfast buffet for this trip. The breakfast menu doesn't look as diverse as the other meals, but it has gotten great reviews. Here is a link to the menu:

Breakfast there is fantastic. I don't know about less kids, though. AKL is a pretty family friendly hotel and we've seen kids every time we've eaten at Boma for breakfast or dinner.

My favorite place for breakfast! It's not a character meal, one time I was there a woman was flipping out because she said she was told characters would be there.

I'm not sure about fewer kids, but when we ate there it was certainly much quieter and laid back than the typical buffet "character cattle call." AKL is worth a trip just to check out the lodge, the animals, and the wonderful cast members from Africa. AKL is really one of the gems of WDW - beautiful, relaxing . . you really feel like you're on vacation.

AKL is on the "hinterlands" of WDW property, but we always had good luck with bus service. If you're going to go to AK for the day, you could take a bus from your home resort to AK, and then take the bus from AK to AKL for breakfast.

I agree, it is the best breakfast out of all the places I have been. It is much, much more relaxing because of the lack of characters, which I like. I don't know that I would say there are less kids, we go with our kids each time we visit and usually multiple times as we always stay at AKL. If you are visiting AK on a day that would be the best way to get there. It is a very short bus ride from there to the lodge.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Boma because it's quiet and the food is really good. Wealways go around 9am because we don't like to be waiting at the parks for RD.
