Boma - breakfast or dinner?

I've about decided to start or end my second day at DAK with Boma - but I can't decide on breakfast or dinner.

I remember having breakfast there before and we enjoyed it. Never had dinner there, but it looks good. And from everything I've read they are great with gluten-free guests at either (GF in Orlando named it as one of the best places to eat if gluten-free - for either.)

What would you do? Start the day at Boma or end the day at Boma? Pluses or minuses for either?

Thanks!

Breakfast is really good.

Dinner, on the other hand, is my favorite meal anywhere. If you have any dietary issues, the staff has been known to make dishes on the fly and bring them to your table.

The key to getting the most out of dinner at Boma is to take small servings of lots of different things, rather than filling up on just a few. I typically go through a dozen plates or so. (The other key tip is to realize you don't have to go to the end of the carving station line every time you want to go back - each pod has its own line, and all but the first one are almost inevitably short.)

We just did breakfast and dinner at Boma last Thursday :) We enjoyed both but my husband and I agreed that Boma dinner was by far our favorite meal all week. We are not gluten free so I cannot speak to that but I did see a chef going over the food with another guest.

Thanks! One advantage to dinner is it would pretty much enable me to use Disney transportation - take the bus from DAK and then after dinner go to Disney Springs and get a bus to AoA from there. It would take a little while, but I could also wander around Disney Springs if I wanted to.

I've never been for dinner, but Boma is my most favorite breakfast ANYWHERE on planet earth. I'm salivating just thinking about it. That said, I like a BIG breakfast, because then I can just snack the rest of the day as I get hungry. I despise trying to plan my food for the day so I can be hungry for a dinner reservation, lol.

Agree with HopperFan, and if you've never tried dinner at Boma to me it is a no-brainer.

Tough call - they are both good. However, dinner with a wine flight would probably sway me a little more than the french toast bread pudding with praline sauce. But only slightly ;)

Well, I couldn't do the french toast thing anyway...gluten.

But please enlighten me about the wine flight!! Can you select red or white or is it a mix?

They will bring GF Mickey waffles with the praline sauce. It is our favorite breakfast on property. We go every trip. Frequently we do a breakfast and dinner there. My 14 yo daughter is GF and it is her favorite restaurant. You can't go wrong with either breakfast or dinner.

I am weird in that I don't like praline. Lol. But good to know about the waffles.

Had both, enjoy both but I would rather start my day early at AK and finish it at Boma.
Logistically it works better and dinner is a great dining experience.

This!!! Love Boma dinner and this sounds like an excellent day!

Last time I was there you had a selection of 2 red flights and 2 white flights, I don't remember any mixed flights.

Awesome! Red is fine with me. I am not a white wine girl.

I have very much enjoyed both of the red flights (not a fan of white wine either). The only issue with the wine flight is finding space on your table for the flight, water, soups, and plates of amazing Boma food!!!

Edited to add: I just noticed above that you said you are gluten free. If you ask your server they shouldn't have an issue getting you gluten free zebra domes for dessert if you are interested in trying them! You just may want to let them know earlier on in case they have to go get them.

Thank you!! Good to know!!

Thanks all! I think I'll go with my dinner ADR. :)

I don't think you'll be disappointed. We've never been to Boma for breakfast, but we love dinner! Boma is one of our favorites and is a must do for us every trip.
