I am wondering what people's opinions are: if you were only eating at Boma once, would you go for breakfast or for dinner?

They are both good. I am booking both for Christmas Eve. But if I would have to choose, I would choose Dinner. So much variety of foods.

Breakfast.
Dinner is a little strange and exotic. I was not happy with Boma's dinner in December when I stayed at the lodge.

Definitely breakfast - dinner had too many "flavors of Africa" type foods for us.

We prefer the dinner. Although breakfast is good, it's pretty typical breakfast fare. Dinner offers dishes that you probably won't get at home in your local restaurant.

We would pick dinner. There are some slightly more "exotic" foods, but we also found plenty that was suitable for children or the unadventurous.

Breakfast at Bomo’s is an absolute favorite for my family of six! We especially enjoy the first seating at 7:30 AM. The atmosphere is great, the food is fabulous and the service is always top-notch! :thumbsup2

I am still hoping we can do both, but it sounds like if we really want to experience some unique African cuisine, dinner is the best bet. I'll book that for sure, and then see if we can add a breakfast during the trip. Thanks for all your responses. :goodvibes

I've only had dinner at Boma but it was AMAZING. I even went with a picky eater who enjoyed just about everything the buffet offered. We are definitely going back. I'd love to try breakfast too!

More and more I am thinking we need to find time to add the breakfast. It sounds like everyone loves it!:goodvibes
