Boma...........breakfast or dinner?

I'm going to be of no help here because I have only tried the dinner and LOVE it, so we are booking both Breakfast AND dinner for our next trip. :cool1:

THE MORE I READ ABOUT IT ON DISBOARDS I MAY DO THE EXACT SAME THING! SEE.......................YOU HELPED MORE THAN YOU EXPECTED! :rotfl:

We have done both breakfast and dinner - several times :thumbsup2

Dinner is probably our favourite because of the zebra domes :lovestruc I don't think you can go wrong either way.

We have also only eaten there for dinner and it was our favorite of our last trip. Going back in Sept for FD and plan to do both breakfast & dinner. As said earlier, I don't think you can go wrong with either of them.

:)Do both - you won't be disappointed. Dinner was amazing and so was breakfast. We are doing both during our trip in May. It helps that we are staying at the AKV though!

For us it is a must do breakfast...we didnt like dinner at all. For tons of pics and full reviews of both click on my Oct link

I loved them both, but if you haven't been to Boma try dinner first. There is a wonderful review going now by 5infam. His family had dinner there and he gushes about it(lots of photos). He thought they have bfast there today, not sure if they did.

Have only done dinner at Boma--have done this three times so far. But, after reading a dining review for breakfast at Boma, I'm going to have to try that, too. Doesn't mean I'm willing to give up dinner and the Zebra domes, though!

I have only done breakfast, and love it. I am also doing a dinner and breakfast at Boma this time. :cool1:

We did both last trip Breakfast is very good, but nothing like dinner. I say if you can only do one, do dinner! But go early--it gets crowded fast and the line is looonnnng.

We did both last trip. I liked breakfast. Very good, but it's breakfast. The really good variety is at dinner. If you can't do both, I'd say do dinner.

Another vote for both, both are a must do for us every trip :lovestruc

I vote for Breakfast just because of the atmosphere. I've done both meals twice. Both times I had dinner, I thought Boma was loud and hectic. However, both breakfasts were quiet and peaceful, excellent service too. Dinner service seemed a little rushed, just a very "bustling" atmosphere.

In a word - YES. Another vote for both, although I agree that it is much noisier at dinner. We found great food and service (well, buffet service) at both. I like the variety of dinner especially, and we found all offerings to be served warm and fresh. The chefs will come out and explain anything you have questions on, and we saw them providing options to people needing alternative dining choices. Like any other place, there will be hit or miss nights, but we have been to Boma for dinner on a few occasions and haven't had a miss yet.

So I read your October review of dinner and it wasn't nearly as negative as I thought it would be. Sounds like there were some things you liked quite a bit (prime rib, falafel balls, roasted chicken, curry mac salad, fresh fruit, salad with balsamic, banana bread pudding, mousse, chocolate cake) and some things you didn't (soup choices, potatoes, zebra domes, salad with mango dressing, hummuses, some of the other "authentic" choices) Overall -sounds like a buffet! I am surprised it doesn't rank as at least a "retry" for you.

We do both.
If I could only choose one I would pick dinner only because getting to an early ADR without a car from another resort can be stressful.

I agree on choosing dinner if you can only choose one. However, getting to AKL is not more difficult than getting to AK early in the AM. Take the AK bus from your hotel to AK, then walk around to the other side, stop #7 and get the AKL bus, 5 minute ride to AKL. Finally, breakfast doesn't have to be "early" you can get an ADR as late at 10:45am, I know ;). Boma was an awesome Sunday brunch.

I agree that getting to AKL is not hard...it can just be challenging in the early hours of the a.m.
We like to eat breakfast early and maximize our days in the parks. I personnally do not want breakfast at nearly lunch. But this is just a preference. What works for some doesn't work for others...that is what makes WDW so great....the choices and options!!!:goodvibes:goodvibes

I would rather go for dinner. Not that breakfast wasn't less than fantastic..I'm just not an early morning eater.
