I usually do mine on rye with dijon mustard.

What I absolutely love is the bologna sandwich spread. Also served on rye.

My bologna has a first name, it's B-L-E-C-H
My bologna has a second name, it's Y-U-C-K-Y

Really, really hate the stuff.

Unless it's Lebanon bologna. That I like plain, or with colby or colby-jack cheese (mustard optional).


DH likes regular bologna with mayo, Swiss cheese and lettuce (tomato optional). It's a labor of love to make those sandwiches, as I really, really hate mayo too. Lebanon bologna he eats as I do.

fried, in the pan, not the microwave, with some pepper jack cheese, usually on Sunday mornings, before the wife and kids are awake, with a big glass of milk. Usually on white, but sometimes on wheat (Grants farm wheat of course)

I eat my bologna sandwich with lots and lots of chips on it. White bread, bologna, american cheese, (cheddar will do in a pinch) and chips. I don't care what kind of chips it just has to crunch. I've never tried a fried bologna sandwich before. Note to self. Must try fried bologna.

In So Md we refer to it as 'tube steak' and only Oscar Mayer will do!!!
Haven't had any for a couple yrs, but like it with Am yellow or Colby Jack Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Miracle Whip and that's on whole wheat pleeeezzzz ... our family hasn't used much white bread in yrs. !!! Yum! When DS was here he loved my triple deckers sandwiches !!! Yum!
