Okay, I honestly thought I was the only person who put ketchup on balogna. So yep, balogna, ketchup and cheese sounds great to me


Now since I won't go anywhere near mayo, my preference is for fried balogna on toast with butter!

Fresh, white bread, two slices of bologna (unfried!), miracle whip, and fresh, crisp lettuce!!! But I haven't had bologna in years (literally).

My EX MIL--who was a little wacked in the head--would take a 5 pound LOG of Bologna and grind it in a meat grinder. Then she would put in a jar of miracle whip and a jar of pickle relish and then slap it on some bread. The SIGHT of that ICKY STICKY MESS going through that meat grinder will haunt me until the day I die!!!

I actually had a bologna sandwich for lunch today. I prefer just cheese on mine, and I'm not too picky with the bread. Sometimes if we order sandwiches at work from the local deli I'll get mine on a hard roll or bagel.

The country diner down the road offers fried bologna in their scrambled eggs (no smoked salmon here!).

Fried- BBQ sauce on toast (or to be honest, anything)
Regular- Miracle Whip, lettuce, tomato on whatever bread available; Chips a nice addition I would add at school usually.

Bologna is gross unless it is fried(no bread)...I will also eat it on a cracker with cheese. Otherwise put that nasty stuff away!

Cold with cheese- mayo
Cold without cheese-mustard

The bread has to be really, really soft as in Soft 'n Good...1 slice of thick bologna and mustard spread on both slices of bread, cut diagonally...yum!!
