Can anyone tell me how to bold (in yellow box) what a diser writes and then respond to a section of it? Can't figure it out. Thanks!

Just hit the quote button in their post (bottom right corner) when you want to respond

Right use the quote button.

Once the text is in your message you can select it and hit the Bold button above the message, but many of us edit out the less important part of the original message (select text and either backspace or delete). That focuses your reply on a specific section of their message and shortens the quoted section within your message at the same time.
