We have the quick service dining plan and I would like to experience the BOG dining place but there is nothing on the lunch menu that my 14 year old grandson would eat, can we go and just order dessert with a lunch reservation?

It's totally possible, but are you sure that he doesn't eat anything? Even Croque Monsieur? Croque Monsieur is just a fancy name for ham and cheese sandwich

They don't have lunch reservations, only dinner. You would have to try and get a FP+ for lunch.

They have turkey sandwich, grilled cheese, and noodles with marinara but you can get them with butter.

Or order him fries and dessert while you all eat.

Actually, you don't have to have FP+ to dine at BOG at lunch, although it is a great option. You can choose to get in stand-by line. We did it twice last year. First day we were in line for about 45 minutes, second day about 25 minutes. Well worth the wait both times. This year we do have FP+ for BOG.
To the OP concerning your nephew... As PP said, BOG's version of Croque Monsieur is basically a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with a side of French fries. And he could always ask them to "hold the ham," which would give him a grilled cheese. Good luck and enjoy dining at BOG. It is now my favorite place to dine in MK!!!
