So I know Disney dinning isn't always top notch and while the experience of having dinner at BOG was truely magical and I'd gladly pay the price again. I was slightly disappointed in the food, and they grey stuff was a complete let down. The mussels were good, the chicken was chicken, but is the grey stuff really just grey colored icing?!?! The possibilities for that dessert could have been AMAZING! I imagined a mousse or even a flavored custard.

I think it's supposed to be cookies and cream. I could be wrong though.

For me BOG is about being in that castle, it's not about the food at all. I feel like for that reason you get a better deal with breakfast or lunch. The dinner is just a little bit to expensive for the food you actually get. Still to hang out in there for an extended amount of time is pretty cool.

Grey Stuff = crushed up Oreo's and Cool Whip.

Lunch is the only "value" option, IMO. Breakfast is way overpriced for what you get, IMO. The "free" pastries you get are no better than what your local grocery store carries in their deli. I much prefer the danishes and muffins you can get at your resort to the pastries from BOG. Not even close in quality.

Ok yeah I didn't taste much oreo but it was completely worth it just to see the Beast! Even if my child decided he needed a steak instead of a kid's meal!!!

The strip streak was very good- both my DH and I enjoyed it. He got the grey stuff at dinner (over a brownie) and at lunch (with the cupcake). He said it was good. But BOG was by far our favorite dining experiences a few weeks ago.

BOG was the worst meal I had at Disney. I'm glad everyone else seems to love it though. It leaves the really good places easy to get in to. :)
