BOG Reservations Galore

Hey, anyone know why there are reservations available at BOG for every night in the remainder of July? I'm wondering if the system is broken or if they release a ton of near term inventory sometimes. Every night is available until July 30. I have 2 reservations but am worried their system is broken or something. Anyone ever seen something like this before?

The only thing I can think of, is that Disney knowing the demand, they decided to open up all 3 rooms for dinner, instead of keeping the one room closed.

I have heard this theory but wouldn't that open up slots for the rest of the months. People still can't find spots for August today. I know I was told they were not releasing cancellations, but maybe they did. This still seems like way too many openings for cancellations.

This is exactly what I was thinking! And maybe they're going to do it month by month? Like they opened all of July's extra tables today. Maybe they'll open August on another day.

And the cancellations do go back into the system, although sometimes a bit delayed. I was able to get an ADR that was listed on the August cancellation thread. And then when we changed our minds (decided on lunch instead!), I released it and someone else on the thread grabbed it.

Yeah I got 2, one for the 18th and one for the 19th for 2 on our anniversary trip. Hoping to get a different room each time.

I saw on another thread that they opened another room for dinner. Hopefully they do this in Nov for my trip.

They are opening the Rose room, that's why there's more availability.

My DD is a CM and just called to tell me. I'm a TA and she wanted to let me know in case I had some clients that were looking for reservations.

Will they be doing this for the winter also. I called at 7am at my 180 day mark and could only get a 9pm reservation. I would love to be able to get one for the night we are doing the Christmas party!

Coincidentally, I have an ADR for our October trip but it is for 8:55pm, I have been watching the cancellation thread and checking online booking religiously for an earlier ADR to pop up. Still crossing my fingers.....if I can't find one, the one I already have will obviously do.

To the OP - THANK YOU THAN YOU for this thread! We just decided on a whim to go at the end of thisi month and I gave up hope on getting in and theen I saw this thread tonight - I have my ressie and couldn't be happier! It's just aftere DD's BBB appt and her current fave is Belle so this is going to be awesome!!!!

I'm in the same boat. Have an 8:45 in October because it was the only day I could get. I've been checking every day for an earlier time. Here's hoping we are both lucky!

I got one for 4 people earlier tonight. We're all excited--we were just going to do lunch since I had given up. So this was a nice surprise!

I just got one for my husband and I for tonight 7/10 about 5 minutes ago. Not sure what is going on but have been trying for months so I am happy.
