BOG reservation

MK is now open at 8:00 on the day our our reservation also at 8:00. What are the chances of us being in a tad early ahead of rope drop people so we can actually make the reservation on time?

so I have two options:
cancel completely and fight with all the other rope drop people or keep it and get in and out as fast as i can (seeing this reservation, I at least changed the order to cupcakes and coffee)

I think you can get in there a couple minutes early before rope drop to get over there. I had an ADR for Akershus at 9:00 and we were allowed to walk over there around 8:45AM.

I would not keep it either unless I just really wanted to eat their cupcakes for breakfast!

the only reason i'm even thinking about keeping it is to hopefully get in a few minutes early before the crowd. if that won't be an option, I probably would cancel.

thing is once through the gates, we'll have to get our stroller which I'm sure will also back us up. if we can get in before ropedrop at least we could get the stroller too

how much is the fee for most restaurants if not cancelled until day of?

Is that 10$ the same if we don't show up at all but don't cancel? Does ordering ahead of time add to the fee?

You will get in before 8:00. Every time we've had a 8:00 BOG ADR on a day the MK opens at 8:00, we are let in at about 7:40-7:45. For us, it is worth it to get in a little early before the crowds on busy days and go grab some coffee and pastries/cupcakes really quickly before starting our day. We are out of BOG by 7:55-8:00 and beat the rush of people to the mine train or whatever it is we're wanting to hit first.

There is a separate entrance for those with ADRs. We try to arrive a half an hour to 20 minutes earlier and we usually get seated.

I was in the same situation in Feb. I cancelled. I was so irritated at them for making me plan 180 days ahead, and then 23 (or however many) days before, they can change the rules, I decided to keep my $20pp and buy cinnies at Gaston's for $5. Didn't hurt them, but made me feel a ton better!

Stroller rental is after the rope drop area. I'm not sure if that area is open before official park opening but it is pretty busy in the morning.
