When trying to preorder our breakfast the dropdown beverage section of each entrée choice does not include the alcohol choices. It seems like you have to make a choice of what is there before continuing. Should I just choose one and then add the mimosas?

We are on the QS plan so will they straighten things out when we check in at the restaurant?

TIA

Yes, even with a mobile/preorder you still "cash out" at the hostess stand prior to being seated. You just skip the insanely long line of people ordering from the touch screens(seriously whats wrong with these people?). You can make any adjustments you want, including adding or removing items, at that time. Thats true with DP or paying cash/credit.

To clarify with mobile ordering you don't go "cash out". You just pick up your tray of food.

With BOG preorder you do go to a cashier where they will confirm your order and you will pay (in your case using the dining plan).

Odd to me that you cannot select it.
For me for lunch it gave a "warning" that only non alcoholic drinks are allowed but I ignored it and was able to select an aloholic beverage.
I think they just haven't updated the system to include alcohol.
Go ahead and do what you have to and then when you go just tell them you'd like to change xyz and they will.

BOG preorder is still not updated. You’ll have to pick something else as a placeholder and change it to an alcoholic beverage when you check out.

See I find that weird though since for lunch I could order it. It did give a warning that specialty drinks and alcohol are not part of the dining plan even though they are but it still let me select them. I'm just not sure why for breakfast the OP doesn't even have the option.

I don't do the dining plan with Disney so I'd need a lot of alcohol to help me cope with dropping $100 for three people for cold cereal, a fancy doughnut, scrambled eggs, beverages and a plate of frozen pastries to share. LOL... I will say from my previous experience even pre-ordering and then cashing out prior to seating was still a difficult and lengthy process. At least it was for me a couple of years ago.

Oh, no need to worry about our spending $$$, I was able to book with free dining, LOL. The alcohol inclusion is just a bonus and will help us deal with all the grumpy people who complain about how much everything costs at Disney. Hopefully they have smoothed out process for pre-order check out. Thanks for your help.

Aren't the mimosas new, relatively? I mean, much more recently introduced than the beer and wine that's always been available at lunch and dinner?

I guess I should offer up that when my window for ordering at BOG opened - (I'm eating there on Dec. 4th ), I had no problem whatsoever adding breakfast cocktails to my pre-order. I am on the Deluxe Dining Plan.

I did not get any warnings or notice anything out of the ordinary when I placed my order.

Just some food for thought.

Not sure what the problem was before, but when we ate there last year, we literally walked up to the pre-order kiosk, paid, and went to find a seat. There was no line, no problem paying, nothing. Took less than 5 min to walk from the ADR hut, across the bridge, take care of paying, and sit down.

I'm currently preordering and I have a drop down for a beverage with 4 options (milk, juice, fountain, bottled water). Has anyone done this recently and included alcohol? We're on the dining plan. TIA!

If using preorder, order a regular beverage to complete transaction. When you arrive, replace regular beverage with your choice. According to Disney, ID is,required for adult beverages.
