BOG Pre-Park Opening?

I have an 8:15 BOG breakfast scheduled on a day when MK opens at 9:00 for our end of August/beginning of Sept. trip. It will just be myself and DS4.

I am having second thoughts about this reservation, though. We have FP+ for A&E, 7 Dwarves and Peter Pan. I hate to miss the opening show! Then again, it may be worth it to get into the park before opening and try breakfast at BOG. Also, we could get in line for A&E early and then just use the A&E FP we have for something else or do 7 Dwarves early and again with our FP.

What do you think? Would you rather see the MK opening show or get into the park early?

The opening show isn't really a Thing for us so I would rather get into the park early. The breakfast doesn't guarantee you'll get to line up for the popular rides early, but the way I think of it is that you'd still get an extra 45 minutes of time in the park - and you have to eat breakfast anyway...Just depends on what is important to you, though.

If you've NEVER seen Magic Kingdom Welcome,I would choose that.

If you have seen MKW before I would choose get in the Park early.

Also,there is no guarantee they will do the "full" MKW on any given day.

I would see the show! It's so cute and it really sets such a happy mood to begin your day. One thing my DS really likes to do if we happen to be there at opening is ride the trolley or fire truck up Main St. It's such a fun, relaxing way to get up Main St. and they drop you off right in front of the castle. It's not the fastest way to get up Main St., but it's one of those special things you can only do right when the park opens.

I like the welcome show, but I absolutly hate standing there like cattle! Give me a relaxing breakfast and then a stroll into the rides instead of a sweltering wait standing in the heat followed by a stampede up Main Street any day!

We have seen the show, but my DS4 saw it a year ago, so I'm not sure how much he remembers.

That's a tough one! We have two MK RD's so I'm doing both. Not sure which I'd choose. LOVE the opening show!

I have two MK rope drops too, but for one of them I have the Pre-Park BOG and for the other one we have Pirates League booked at 9:00 a.m.! I definitely don't want to give up Pirates League, but I'm thinking about giving up the BOG . . .
