I was finally able to snag a lunch spot at BOG in August! We were really wanting dinner. What’s the difference between lunch and dinner, other than the menu and price? This will be our fist dining experience at BOG.

Lunch is quick service, you seat yourself and they deliver your food. Dinner is table service, you are seated and are served your dinner. After dinner, you can have your picture taken with the Beast. He is only at dinner.

Come August, dinner will be a prix fix, three-course meal with a completely different menu than you're seeing online right now.

Whats the difference between lunch and dinner - starting July 27th, about $30 per person when it goes Pre-Fixe.
Lunch is still ala-carte, but dinner will be a set 3 course Pre-Fixe ($55 per adult, $35 per child), no ala-carte choice.
As mentioned, dinner is the only time to see the Beast.

The only other thing I can add that hasn't been said is that if you go at dinner in August, it will require 2 TS on the DDP. Since you are going at lunch and lunch will remain QS, you don't have to worry about that though.

We went for lunch in 2016. It was fun, the food wasn’t anything special. It wasn’t bad food, we liked the desserts. We sat in the big ballroom so I think it was worth it. The que on the way in is fun too. When you go make sure you look in all the rooms. Beasts room has the magic rose in it and when the lightning flashes his painting changes. Hope you have fun !

I had both lunch and dinner there within the past week. I enjoyed both meals. We were seated in the music box room for dinner, and I have to say it was not the same experience as sitting in the main dining room. It was kind of tacky, the way they used carts to block off what is the beverage station for breakfast and lunch. And the Beast did not come in there as he was making his way to his M&G spot. The braised beef was really good, but the overall feel in that room is just not as special as some of the other TS restaurants at dinner time.
