The grey stuff is nothing more than cool whip and Oreo's blended together.

I preferred the cupcake at lunch to the cookie-type dessert at dinner. Here are pictures I took of both during our last visit:

There is plenty of grey stuff on the cupcake for you to be able to taste it. It's piled pretty high. Ours was also filled with it. I'm not sure I would base a dinner adr around it. It's very good but not life changing.

Thanks! I think I'll keep it a lunch adr, but probably still just grab dessert. I wouldn't say I'm basing an ADR around it (well, maybe I am lol) but this was one of my favorite movies growing up and ever since they started construction I've just been dying to SEE the place, even if it isn't worth the hype, I feel like I need to do it once. When I was still trying to make up my mind, I was also considering a lunch ADR at Crystal Palace because we all loved it the last time, but I went ahead and made one for breakfast, pre-park opening. Hoping the breakfast food is as good as our lunch was. If so, hopefully we'll be full enough from CP until we get dessert at BoG, and then get "real" food afterwards. Who knows, still a work in progress.

Lunch Master Cupcake is a basic cupcake but plenty of Grey Stuff on it if that is what you want to try. It's a pretty cupcake and much nicer visually than dinner dessert.

Dinner Grey Stuff comes like photo above, those with it all spelled out were the early days. There is lots of Grey Stuff but the "cookie" is hard as a rock. I had to try to bust it up with my spoon but finally gave up since my teeth didn't enjoy the battle. So I left more than half the cookie.

If you are not wowed by menus and just want the Grey Stuff, just go to any meal and order only the Grey Stuff. You can do that at all three meals now.

And yes it is like cool whip with a slight oreo taste. If you ever had the chocolate cool whip they used to have similar to that.

Yes I think the cupcake is definitely the plan now. I would rather not risk my teeth. And I will admit that the fancy plate it came on that I saw early pictures of was half of the reason I wanted it LOL

Completely agree. This is one of those "I've tried the grey stuff." Box checked. Unless on DP, no more.

I have tried every single one of the desserts at BOG, highly disappointing. So much potential ...

That's the box I want to check too. Bummer that you didn't really care for the desserts. It does seem like they could do so much more with this place than they are.
