I received the email inviting us to arrange a fast pass. It was sent well after the 27 day mark for the first day of our reservation. The only other day I can arrange the FP is for the eighth day of our stay, but it's not showing up on the calendar as being available. Only the first 7 days of our stay. Are they maybe not offering fastpasses on certain days due to crowd levels? Or do they only offer the FP during the first 7 days of longer stays? We're going down over Xmas vacation if that makes any difference.

TIA!

What specific date are you looking for? The 27 day mark doesn't seem to be set in stone, but it does seem like it opens each day one at a time, not opening your entire trip on day 27 from the first day as FPs and traditional ADRs do. If you're trying for Dec 29 and later, try looking again as each day is 27 days out.

The BoG FP+ system, which is totally separate from MDE, will only let you make a FP+ for the first seven days of your vacation. That's why only those days are showing as available. On day one of your vacation, you will be eligible to get a FP+ for day 8, and on day two for day 9, etc., pending availability, of course. And you can only hold one unused BoG FP+ at a time. If you have a FP+ for day two, for example, you won't be able to try to get another FP+ until you've used the first one. If you do try, the system will ask if you want to cancel the first one.

Hi,:wave2:

let me know if i am understanding you correctly.

We have a fp+ for BOG lunch for Monday December 29th but i would also like to book one for Friday January 2nd. in what you are explaining we won't be able to book another FP+ for that Friday of our trip. We have to wait until the 1st one is used up. Is that right?:confused3
We would like to go twice in our week.

Thanks for your help:goodvibes
Edit: Just found the answer to my ? You can only have one FP+ for BOG at a time. But once you have used that one you can try for another.

Liz Z, you are correct. Once your first BoG FP+ has been used, you can try to get another. It is possible - we ate at BoG three times during our March vacation. I would make another FP+ as soon as we had used one. It's usually possible to get one on only a couple days notice. The BoG FP+ system still isn't all that well known to the general public.

I'm looking for 12/30...and it only goes up to 12/29. I've even checked this AM, 12/3....I should be able to book 12/30 but it's not showing at all on the calendar. I haven't made any BOG FPs. Only the 30th would work.

I think I follow, but if 12/30 is day eight of my stay, and it's 27 days out from today...then 12/30 should be showing on the calendar?

I know it sounds illogical. Prior to your arrival, it will only show the first 7 days of your reservation, no matter how close you are to any of the dates. But on your arrival date, 7 more days will open up. No one said it had to make sense.

Oh my! There won't be any left by the time I arrive. Oh well, fortunately we have BOG dinner ADR, but it would've been nice to experience lunch as well. :)

I wouldn't be so sure. There's still a significant portion of the visiting masses who don't know about the BoG FP+ system. I know a lot has probably changed since March, but my husband and I had no problems then getting an additional FP+ at BOG for another day after we had used our first one. It can't hurt to try.
