BOG for lunch AND dinner?

I have always been torn about whether to eat at BOG for lunch or dinner during our May trip. I know that each has its pluses and minuses. When my 180-day window opened, I still hadn't decided, so I made reservations for 11:45 and 6:15, intending to cancel one (probably dinner) when we got closer to our trip. Now I'm wondering if I should keep both. The menu looks good enough to try something different for both meals. Perfect solution or BOG overkill?

I haven't eaten dinner there but I would guess that the experience differs between lunch and supper. If you like the menus at both I would be tempted to keep both.

Hopefully others who have more experience will provide their input.

Keep both as the menus are different and you get to meet Beast at dinner. I'm a bit upset my dh said pick only one meal for our August trip as this trip is about trying mostly new places to eat. That's the one repeat we're allowing ourselves. If you do dinner first eat in a different room at lunch as they all have a different feel.

We have done both on a couple of trips now. They are quite different but we usually do them on different days. I would keep them.

I wouldn't do them the same day, as others have said.

Lunch is really chaotic. Dinner's okay.

I was thinking about having an ADR for lunch and dinner at BOG, but on different days. There just aren't that many quick/counter service options that I am very excited about at MK.

That is why we do it. I don't like fight the CS lines and seating. BOG is quite simple and you get an air conditioned break.
However we did have difficulty finding a seat on our lunch last November, but that was the first time we experienced that.

I expect that my DH, a major penny-pincher, is going to squawk if I keep both reservations. But he leaves all the planning up to me, so he'll just have to deal with it.
No problem, because lunch isn't much more than any counter service. If you are worried that you might be too full by supper time, you could always share something at lunchtime. But be sure to each get your own strawberry cupcake. :cutie:

we've done both on the same trip (I don't think the same day, but maybe), and like others have said, it's really different at lunch and dinner. last time we went to lunch I found it really chaotic to the point that I didn't particularly enjoy it. dinner is much more my speed--its quieter, and no one has hovered over my table waiting (impatiently) for us to get out.

Is the beast not there during lunch???

I had the trifecta and loved it.. all three was a totally different experience. Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner at BOG on the same day. for the experience... it was a lot of fun
