BOG fastpass lately

I'm well within the 27 days (trip is Feb 18-21), no email, and I can't check for available times past Feb. 1.

No, it isn't an actual fastpass. It's more like a quick-service ADR.

We never received an email. I booked our fastpass this morning and it worked (for 2/23, exactly 27 days from the day we will eat at the restaurant).

How do they check if you have a FP when you get there? is it on the band/MDE, or do they have a list with your name on it?

We had a fast pass last week. The email invitation came about 3 weeks before our trip and we were given 2 time slot options every day for our trip to chose from. Our FP were already set so this did not count and we just walked up and gave a name. During check in/timing for the FP there was a sign that said lunch was at capacity and they were not accepting any new people. I believe that was only for the FP testing times though, because by the time we finished lunch the sign was gone and there was a significant line of walk-ups waiting to eat.

Silly me--got the email several days ago but didn't try to book until the other day for President's Week. No availability--no surprise!

Having stalked these boards for quite a while now, I didn't wait to get the email. I booked this morning for 2/24 and had a choice of times. I went back a few minutes ago to change my time (it's nice to have a bit of breathing room between lunch and a roller coaster!) and had no problems. So glad for these boards, they are making planning SO much easier!
