BOG fast pass

It is supposed to be by invite. The invitation is an email that tells you to go to the website. It doesn't appear to block out people who stumble upon the site. The CM's are attempting to steer people who were not invited away from the BOG site.

My Disney account has my home email linked. Thats the one that stopped working. I then switched to using my work email instead which was never linked to my Disney resort reservation. It worked fine.

Even the invites are sent before arrival though, aren't they? She was positive that anything done before check in was not real and would not work at the restaurant.

I'll try someone else's MDE account, that way it will be on that person's MB. Or do you even need the bands to check in?

Question re: BOG Fastpass+ and dining plan.

I have our fastpass booked and selected direct to table to order our food in advance. I selected meals for DH and I, and kids meals for the 3 kids. Then when I go to desserts and make a selection, it only asks me if it's for myself or DH, not the kids. With the regular dining plan, I believe a QS credit includes dessert. Should I not be able to select a dessert for the kids?

This happened to me as well but I went back in and added a dessert for my daughter. It didn't show up on the total as extra so it must have credited it to the dining plan. Must be a small glitch. I will double check upon paying once we are there.

Cupcakes aren't available for the kids dessert at lunch. The fruit side is technically the dessert for them. You can use a snack credit for the cupcake though. We are just going to share a few adult meals when we go and get the kids cupcakes as snack credits as they weren't thrilled with the kids options anyway. Most of the kids qs desserts are similar--grapes, apples, applesauce, or prepackaged cookie.

What's the problem you're having via the link? No availability, won't take your reservation number, etc?

Waiting (im)patiently for Feb 5th here - tried today but still nothing.

Thanks SO much for this thread! I have a friend that works as a CM for resort reservations and they really don't get much info on the Magic Bands and the FP+ changes. She is also a DIS'er so she is "in the know" and doesn't have to rely solely on company information. She should probably be a trainer instead of a phone agent lol You would probably know if you had ever talked to her before, she knows her stuff.

Once you make your FP+ reservation for Be Our Guest is it supposed to show in your MDE? I made ours for Monday, Jan 27th for lunch and it does not show in MDE, but does show under the beourguest reservation site.

correct, it will not show up in MDE, only in the beourguest website.

If you booked through Disneyworld.com then log into your account there. Under My Disney Experience select My Reservations. Next select Check In (no, you're not actually going to check in yet). For a brief moment while Woody completes your request your browsers URL window will show a link. At the end of the link is a 12 digit number. Use your mouse to highlight and copy it before it disappears. This is the number you need for BOG reservation.
