BOG during Mickey's Not So Scary question

I managed to score a 4:50 dinner reservation for BOG on a night when we'll be at MK for the Halloween party. I had previously only been able to get a breakfast reservation so dinner when we'll already be in the park seems great as it's cheaper and I can get a soup and a cupcake (or two, or three) which is what I really want. My main concern is if Beast is still there for dinner when the restaurant has shortened party hours? I called the dining number for some menu questions but when I brought up they said that BOG is not a character dining and made it seem like the Beast is only there infrequently.

Beast will probably be there. The restaurant is open during the party. However, Beast is never guaranteed.

We've done BOG on party nights for the last 2 years. Beast was there both times.

I don't think you'll have a problem, especially since your ADR time is pretty early. Have fun!!

I'm hoping you guys are right and I can get my photo op. At the very least I've never eaten at BOG and it'll be nice to finally try it.

I have only seen warnings of the beast not being there around parade time because he appears in the parade (and obviously can't be in both places at once!) but for a pre-party ADR he should be there.

I hope he's there, as we have a 5:15 ressie on a party night! I didn't want to "waste" party time at dinner, but it was the only night I could score a reservation at BOG.
