Have eaten lunch there, but never dinner. Was unable to get a lunch reservation for our upcoming trip, but was able to obtain a dinner reservation.

Is dinner worth it here? Looked at the menu and only the steak or ratatouille appealed to me.

LOVE IT! It's a must do for me! I know some think it's over rated but I disagree! The food has always been great for me

I've had dinner there twice, lunch once. I wouldn't recommend the Ratatouille. It was just okay and I had serious dinner envy towards everyone else in my party. Both of the soups were excellent, too, especially the potato and leek. "Worth it" is a hard term to define since it's a personal opinion, but I would say that I'm glad I've experienced the restaurant a few times, though I don't feel like a trip to Disney would be ruined if i didn't eat there. I wouldn't lose sleep over not getting and ADR, but if I was able to grab one, I'd look forward to enjoying the meal.

The steak was really good...many wine choices...I did not care for the grey stuff dessert (the cookie on the bottom was hard like a brick)...the kids meals were good too...Will definitely have dinner there again...I also like breakfast and lunch there also!

I liked both lunch and dinner. Dinner portions are really big. I'm a big guy, and I love to eat, and one plate at BOG dinner was too much for me.

We loved our BOG dinner. The steak was delicious! I'll definitely eat dinner there again.

Our pictures with the Beast after dinner were not good. I think it was too dark in there for good photos. I agree with PP about the grey stuff. The chicken was tasteless. I know that was the unadventurous option. Big huge room, no real atmosphere felt when your seat overlooks a window with fake snow.

"Worth it" is so subjective. After trying to get a BOG dinner reservation our first two trips and failing, we succeeded this past trip in December. Previously, we'd had lunch and breakfast and I enjoyed both. For me, the only thing worth it at dinner as opposed to breakfast or lunch was being able to take photos with Beast. Other than that, my sister and I both got the braised beef which was very similar to the braised pork they used to have and we'd gotten at lunch. To me, foodwise, there was no real difference between lunch and dinner.

We've sat in the ballroom each time we've gone and although the atmosphere (large room, kind of noisy, kind of close together) didn't bother me at either breakfast or lunch, it did at dinner. Our neighbors were close enough I could have eaten off their plates and, unfortunately, we heard way too much of their conversation (mainly complaining about EVERYTHING)...and my perception was probably colored by the fact that one had nearly run me over with her ECV earlier in the day. That didn't make for the most relaxing and enjoyable meal.

We mainly did dinner there because my sister is a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast and really wanted to meet Beast. Now that we've done it, I feel no need to do dinner there again but I am open to breakfast or lunch.

We enjoy dinner there every trip, sometimes twice. Every meal has been great. The lamb is amazing.

We enjoy dinner here. The Braised Pork was excellent. Love the atmosphere and its fun to see The Beast. We've done both lunch and dinner and what I did enjoy more about dinner is the more "relaxed" atmosphere since it's "sit-down" dinner (rather than the QS @ lunch). Feel free to check out my photos & review...

For my family, this is one of the better table service restaurants that is not considered a Signature (1-credit for those who use the Dining Plan).

Not only do we enjoy the value (about $30 for lamb chops is a good value), meeting The Beast can only happen at dinner - priceless.

We also request to be seated in the more intimate West Wing (which can be a bit longer wait).

Worth it... I can't answer. As pp noted it's subjective.

It's my wife's favorite 1 credit ts restaurant in or out of park. Happy wife... but to me it's just one of the better ones but I can't say it's best (unless my wife reads this post and then it's the best!).

My kids don't care for the kids meals but that's one meal we pick despite their opinion. The other character meals are for them. This one is for mom and dad.

I enjoyed the potato leak soup. I also order the steak and enjoy that a lot. Probably the best steaks my last two trips. Ratatouille looked terrible at a nearby table.

I did not enjoy eating in the rose room. Atmosphere not super for little kids. We enjoyed the opposite room (not ball room) but forget what that was called. Think it was the music room? That had fun tapestries that kept kids preoccupied looking for details.

Grey stuff is not delicius. The candlestick lied. Pp nailed it: cookie is a rock and the grey frosting was lacking..... oh I think it's called "flavor". They have some good cupcakes. But if you're not on the dining plan and didn't want to stretch out meal time enjoying a bottle of wine then there are better desserts at mk to hit up after building up an appetite walking around the park (dole whip, caseys, among others).

BOG has become one of our favorite dinner adrs - looking forward to our adr this Sept. I always get the steak :thumbsup2 and I like the cupcake dessert :confused3

We ate dinner there on my March trip. The atmosphere is lovely. At dinner, it is very unrushed - which is the opposite of breakfast and lunch. Our waiter was ok. She was clumsy (spilled a few things), was absent for large portions of time and made a mess of the dessert preparation. Okay - so maybe less than ok. The beer was great. The food was ok. I had the seafood pasta - which I have read raves about. It was ok - nothing special and way too salty. I will add that I am from New Orleans and grew up eating fabulous seafood. My daughter got something braised (beef, I think). She thought is was very good. I am not a fan of braised things. I see it as taking a bad piece of meat and cooking it for hours to try to cover that up by making it mushy. I prefer an excellent piece of meat cooked quickly at a high temperature. The desserts are nothing special, but they are priced accordingly. The photos with the beast (in his new costume) were not the best. They are full of shadows and his eyes are alarming.

But - is it worth it? I would say yes - once. It is a lovely experience. It is not rushed and a nice place to be for an hour and a half or so. The prices are not ridiculous and you can easily control what you spend on the meal by ordering nontraditionally (sharing entrees, eating an appetizer, etc).

I am going back for dinner with my other daughter in May. Then I will probably be done with dinner there.

We loved our dinner there - steak was perfectly cooked and delicious. The braised pork is incredible too. We sat in the west wing, kids loved that. Cupcakes are very good!

It's a totally different beast (hardy har) than the good but chaotic lunch. I say go!

Agree that it's subjective. Like the atmosphere but the food left a lot to be desired in our opinion. Worth a visit at least once for the experience. Not worth fighting for a reservation repeatedly though, IMO

I like it but cannot say if the value is there for you. If you have not had dinner in the Castle, the atmosphere is different than breakfast or lunch which really still does resemble a cafeteria. I think that if you want a TS meal in the MK I would keep it. It is a nice respite on a park day.
