Well apparently my first post got deleted? So I lost all the tips everyone gave. My husband and I just booked our honeymoon for Nov 13-21 and the one thing I really wanted was a nice dinner at BOG. However I haven't been able to get a reservation for any night we're there. People had said I'm not totally out of luck. But any suggestions are appreciated! And what's a good second choice?

You're post may have gotten deleted because it could have appeared that you were requesting a BOG ADR. I'm not totally sure though. But I hear that a lot of people celebrate at the castle (CRT) I think that would be pretty romantic for a honeymoon especially since a lot of people get engaged there and they have celebration packages that could be booked. Look it up as a second choice and see what you think.

BOG is the most difficult reservation to get so if you want dinner there you will have to be persistent. Keep checking online multiple times a day to see if a cancellation comes up. Be flexible on the time and date to expand your options. You can also subscribe to the November cancellation thread:

If you want to stay in the MK, CRT would be a good second choice since it's in the iconic castle. Nearby Cali Grill and Narcoossee's have excellent views of the MK fireworks, good food and excellent service. Artist Point at WL is quieter, but also one of our favorites. Farther away, Jiko at AKL has an interesting menu and has a more quiet and adult atmosphere.

I agree. I'd keep trying multiple times a day for BOG. If you wanted to stay in MK then I would also try for CRT. That will be tough to get too but not as hard as BOG. If you don't mind leaving the park I think California Grill or Narcoosees would also be a great alternative.

Do not give up!! Our last 5-7 trips, I was able to get a BoG ADR the week that we left!!!

Was able to get a 5pm ADR for BoG on 9/1 today, after checking constantly for weeks!!

That's our MNSSHP nite!!

:)

I actually prefer the food at lunch. Yes it was special to walk up to the castle at night, but once inside it was the same loud, crowded experience as day only with higher priced food that was IMHO not as good as the lunch offerings.

Swooned over the roast pork at lunch, but at night it lacked flavor and the wonderful green beans and smashed potatoes.

The only way I got my dinner adr on my last stay was that I was CL and put it as priority one in my itinerary sheet so the concierge booked it for me.

Last year I was able to get two BOG reservations checking online in the early morning around 5:45-6 am EST. Not sure if it was coincidence but I was able to get those within days of each other around 3 months out. We settled on one ADR that had the better time. We enjoyed our dinner at BOG. GOOD LUCK!

Also try getting tickets for the Fireworks Dessert Party-it might make your night at MK more special.

I tried for 100 days to get BOG and never saw a single availability, last week while we were there I started to have my pick of day/time I wanted to eat there. Week of worked for us.

That being said, save your stomach some grief and try for CRT instead.

Just checked tonight for what felt like the millionth time and snagged a 7:05 reservation for November 15th! So excited!!!!

I was just getting ready to PM you and let you know they just, 30-minutes ago, released a bunch for that whole time period all the way up through Thanksgiving. Congratulations!
