I did a search but was not able to get all of my questions answered, so TIA for anyone willing to help!

I noticed the master's cupcake on the breakfast menu-I just want confirmation because it seems too good to be true-we can order this for breakfast?

Does every person on our reservation need to order?

We have 3 children and 2 adults on our reservation, if we all don't need to order, can we just order 3 kids meals and split from there? Is their sufficient food to do this with 1 child who is a good eater, and 2 that eat very little at any given sitting?

If we only order 3 kids meals, I just don't want us to walk out of there still hungry and have to listen to my husband complain about cost for amount of food. Looking at the adult menu, there really isn't much there that I think he'd eat-hes a plain scrambled eggs and bacon kind of breakfast eater!

I had very similar questions.

As for the cupcake question, yes you can order that for breakfast!

I took a solo trip and wanted to experience the castle for BOG "breakfast" for an 8am ADR without paying the big price for a very simple breakfast. I just ordered coffee. You fill out your order at Kiosks and drinks are self serve. Food "magically" appears at your table but it's not a problem if you don't order food. If you're in a party of more than one, multiple people could get away without ordering anything. I usually packed my breakfast (a cereal bar or a bagel) and bought their coffee. Plus I also wanted to check out fairly empty main street which was amazing. Got my picture with the castle with not a single person behind me.

I'm sure several people will disagree with this, but especially as a solo diner, no way did I want to spend $27 on a plate of scrambled eggs and coffee.

The kids portions are not that big but there are pastries as well. Each meal comes with a cup of fruit too. If your DH wants the kids scrambled eggs and eats a normal amount, I wouldn't count on him sharing with anyone. It's a small portion of scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon and a cup of fruit. My 7 yo who is a good eater ate all of it and a pastry. If your two small eaters would be happy with a muffin or croissant mostly, you might get by with 3 kids meals. Even the adult portions are not large. It's the only CS where we all got our own meal. There were some pastries left but we had two trays for 7 of us.

Absolutely you can do this. I thought the kids scrambled eggs and bacon was sufficient for a not too heavy breakfast especially with the pastries. Its not really enough to share ( 2 strips of bacon and a scoop of scrambled eggs) but we did share (me an adult shared with my teen daughter) and it was fine. I was more concerned with the prices plus I am not a big breakfast eater. I thought the kids eggs were a better deal than the French toast because the French toast did not come with bacon. Plus we got a cupcake which we also shared. Its not the same experience as a character buffet breakfast where we usually leave stuffed! This was fine but we were hungry when it was lunch time I have to admit.

I totally understand the part about the husband complaining about the prices lol! When we went it was just me and my daughters and I kept thinking that my husband would think we were overpaying for what we got. However, we enjoyed it, we go to beat the crowds before they arrived and we thought the castle was beautifully done with lots of detail. So if you factor in all these things I felt better about the prices. Have fun!

Another option is to order more kids meals. Even though you only have three kids you could order four kids meals.

So, hypothetically - I could order just a cup of coffee for my party of 9? And do they all have to be in line with me?

I also have a question about the master's cupcake for breakfast. Does that count towards quick service dining plan?

Ok great. I cringe at the thought of spending $24 on a breakfast honestly, but my DD's only request for the whole trip is to see Beast's castle (and I'll admit it, I can not wait to get in there!) I know she is dying to try the "grey stuff" so that is a no brainer. I can order kids meals for adults there though?

No, it does not.

Breakfasts, whether QS or TS, never include desserts on the Disney Dining Plan.

The QS breakfast at BOG includes the entree with beverage. Because beverages are bundled with the entrees, the beverage is not swappable for a snack credit.

You may want to get 4 kids meals. Yes you can get that one kind of cupcake. You can order as little or as much as you want. The muffins on this pastry tray are very tiny like a mini cupcake. The other pastries are small sized also.

The French toast is 3/4 of a piece of bread. Just letting you know it's not even a whole piece of bread for the meal.
