BOG breakfast rumor

At first I thought not too, but having given it some thought, I bet it will be, if not immediately then within a year. Every other in-park table service breakfast that I can think of is a character breakfast, so it's a formula that definitely works for lots of reasons. And a BOG character breakfast would certainly be MUST-do for us, and I think it would be for most,

But we don't even know yet if it will be table-service or counter-service. Although most seem to think it will only be counter-service like lunch is at BOG.

I think a character breakfast in BOG would end up being harder to get than dinner. And if it's quick service it definitely will not be a character breakfast.

I think that, as popular and sought-after as BOG is, it's only a matter of time until it will be 3 meals of table service, and boy I hope one is a character breakfast! I believe this is just the first step.

Has anyone actually been able to book a breakfast here, or are the "hours" simply loaded into the ADR system? Showing nothing available for our May/June trip, but wasn't sure if that was because it was already booked, or bookings haven't been released yet? Need to know if I need to go into stalker mode here! :)

Just times nothing has been able to book yet.

When you go to the disney site to reserve it shows the hours of 8-10am breakfast and 4-8:30pm dinner. So it looks like table serve like dinner and not the separate quick service like lunch!

I don't see any times in the ADR on MDE. Does anyone else? Where did you see 8-10am?

Thanks for this thread! Just subscribed. I would love to eat breakfast there February 27th! I'll keep checking! :coffee:

Okay, times are loaded back into the ADR system. Showing breakfast beginning Feb 25, 2015, from 8-10. Any word yet on when they will be bookable???

I think it would be amazing to have a character breakfast with the Beauty & the Beast characters, i'll keep my fingers crossed :thumbsup2

I check the dining website everyday....nothing yet....

The Disney Parks Blog will likely be the first to report.

1) I would be amazed if there it is a character meal.
2) Lunch and dinner are not.
3) Also, 2-hrs is not enough time for characters.
. . . the characters need much more time to circulate
. . . table turnover would be low with folks waiting for characters to come around
. . . thus, increased costs, fewer guest meals, less profit
4) And, with popularity of BoG, why add the cost of extra labor and costumes?
5) They don't need characters to attract business.

1) My wishful thinking was have character breakfast in either Rose room or Music box room. Easy to close off to start lunch in main dining room??
3) depending on number of characters. If they kept it to Beast & Belle, maybe it would be enough. Again, thinking of one or the other rooms mentioned in 1.

Just my extremely wishful thinking...I would be happy to get breakfast there either way. We currently have CP booked & I would trade it for BOG breakfast, character meal or not. We've done CP every year. Ready for a change.
