BOG breakfast and lunch-don't need reservation??

Sorry if this question was already addressed. I went to BOG for lunch in Feb and had a fast pass prior to their new reservation system. I called reservations today and they said reservations are not needed for breakfast and dinner because it's counter service. Reservations just enable you to preorder. Is this true? I have lunch reservations at Tony's and I'm not sure if I should take the chance of canceling that reservation for 6 to see if we can walk in to BOG.

BOG IS a CS, however it DOES require an ADR

Thanks! That is what I thought and that's why I posted here. It's a shame that disney reservations doesn't give accurate info

wow, I think you win the day for the most incorrect info given out by a phone cm, LOL!! They've been taking reservations for lunch (and breakfast now that it's a thing) for quite some time now, there's no sense in that CM telling you otherwise. I'd understand if it was a new thing, and the CMs weren't all aware yet, but it's not at all. Crazy.

Good luck if you decide to change Tony's to BOG. Wishing you lots of ADR pixie dust, and have an amazing trip!!

I have heard that too. That no ADR is needed for that time. However, I later found out that isn't true.

Wow, that's crazy! I did want to point out that breakfast and lunch are counter service and dinner is table service. I think that's what you meant according to your title, but noticed in your post that you said breakfast and dinner are QS.

I was told yesterday on the phone by a dining CM that BOG was table service for all three meals. Which confused me until I looked it up.

I can imagine that the CM's get confused since they take reservations for all three meals now.
