BOG booked for week of 12/1 thru 12/7

180 + 10 is only available to folks staying at Disney resorts. The rest of us have to call each day's 180 mark to try and secure reservations for that day of our vacation.

Thanks so much. I am staying at the YC, so wanted to see how the +10 would work for me. Makes sense now. Now I have to plan on either staying up, or getting up for 6am Sat morning :wave2:

Yes Indiana. It still uses our minutes, and we only have a limited number to use in our plan. Our landline only has a limited number of nationwide minutes as well. I hate wasting them being on hold. So yes, a toll free number would be nice.

Won't say I know all the ins and outs of cell phone minutes, but my understanding is that even if you're calling a toll free number you are having minutes deducted. Hence why most toll frees have gone away.....companies used them so customers wouldn't pay long distance rates, but toll free numbers cost companies more than regular lines, so when the long distance rates went away so did many companies' toll free lines.

The only "free" cell minutes I know about are things like the "friends and family" at Verizon where you can choose select phone numbers, program them into your account and (in the case of Verizon), the next day those numbers don't count against your minutes.

Is there something else? I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm genuinely interested in learning if there are plans out there I'm unaware of.........We'll be shopping for a new cell provider come July when our contract ends....I'm seriously considering Walmart's Straight Talk because it's cheap and unlimited minutes/data/text.....we don't use a lot of minutes, I don't have texting now and doubt I'll use it, but more and more I'm using the data on my smartphone. We have had Verizon for so long that we are grandfathered on their unlimited data, but the bill is a lot higher than straight talk.

I just don't understand why people don't just call 1-407-WDW-DINE. I called Sun am and got all my ADRs done in 20 minutes. I got BOG, Ohana, Chef Mickey and others. The CM are very helpfully helping you get times you want and offering alternatives.

There are a lot of international guests....and it would be quite expensive to keep calling to make reservations.

A little out of date but I tried to go to BoG in September. The park was empty as we did a mid day walk onto Dumbo. But BoG had a 55 minute (we were told) wait for counter service lunch.

Columbia House was a short walk away and the trip was not ruined

Besides now I have something new to try next time
