BOG Beast M&G - How long does it take?

I was able to snag a late dinner reservation at BOG in Juky for DH, DS, and I so DS can meet Beast. We plan to just eat dessert because DS certainly will not wait until 8:15 to eat dinner. How are the lines for meeting Beast in the later evening? Do we need to do that first or eat dessert first? Also, are there PP Photographers there or do we need to take our own pictures?

You meet the Beast after you eat, on your way out of the castle. Our wait wasn't very long, maybe 10 minutes, and yes, there is a photopass photographer.

Our meet and greet experience was a good one. I'd say every family gets at least 3 or 4 minutes with him, which sounds fast, but it's a good amount of time.

Thanks! My DS is a huge Beauty and the Beast fan! I couldn't get a dinner reservation for our whole party (9) at 180 days so I got lunch. Then realized that Beast is only there at dinner. I had been casually watching and was excited that it popped up. We are keeping it a surprise and he is going to be soooo excited!

when we were ready to leave the CM said the beast was on a break. We strolled around with DD2 and looked at the Christmas tree and then left b/c he wasn't back yet and my DD2 is too jumpy to stand in line.

You get to meet the beast after you eat- right when we walked over to meet the beast, we were informed that he was going to do his rounds through the restaurant (he walks into each room to wave to guests)- this took about 10mins and then there were a few people in front of us- in total we probably waited a good 20mins to meet him- this was around 9pm. There was a photo pass photographer there- the lightening wasn't very good though so those pics came out pretty dark.
