BOG and Dinner Booking 180 days Question

So, if your first trip day were to be a Thursday, what is the likelihood that when your 180 day window opens for entire length of on-site stay, you will have availability for BOG dinner for the next day, a Friday. Trying for one of the earliest times, but still concerned that people on-site who are coming down weekend prior would be able to book before our booking window opens. Do they keep a certain amount of reservations available for the day that it is 180 days for that specific date? Or no.... Any input appreciated.

Most likely there will be little chance of getting an early reservation for the second day of your trip because those who were able to access the 180 + 10 for the 9 days before your 180 day rolls around will have booked BOG. Disney doesn't hold back any reservations. Your best opportunity to even get any BOG dinner res is to start with the farthest out day of your trip within the +10. During the 6 months before your trip you can continue checking online to see if a cancellation comes up for an early time on your second vacation day.

I will say you never know...

I scored a BOG dinner reservation for three people on the second night of my stay - and that's on a Saturday night in late May at a decent time (6:50). It never hurts to try! :flower3:

Thanks for the glimmer of hope, SimplyGoofy. I will definitely give it a try and cross my fingers it works.

I got BOG for 5:00 PM on my first day when the 180 day window opened. It was my third ressie in. Suggestion...do not search a meal period...search for first seating. My first time searching I was getting late times when I was searching for meal periods. When I changed to 8:00 AM for breakfasts and 5:00 PM for dinners, better times came up. I got first seatings at most character breakfasts and dinners at my 180 day mark. And I am going during a busy time...first week of August

Thanks for the tip, I will be specific with the hour I want. :flower1: Crossing fingers I have as much luck as you did, thanks.
