BOG adding a guest

Hi all. I have a reservation at bog for 4 people at 8:40. Any current instances of folks being let in early? Also what’s the likelihood that I will be able to add 2 people to it?

I'm assuming you mean a PPO reservation at 8:40 AM?
If so, and if MK hasn't changed their hours (which they can do at the last minute), everyone with a PPO ADR will be let in at 8 AM.

For the extra two people, you will need to make a separate reservation for them. Breakfast and lunch are seat yourself, so even if they can find a reservation for around the same time, you will be able to sit together at a table. Just showing up with two extra people won't work and they will most likely be turned away.

We had a PPO BOG two weeks ago and it's advisable to get to MK by 7:30 AM. The PPO procedure as of two weeks ago was to check in to the left at the MK gates, after you tap in. The CM will scan your magic band to verify your ADR and give you a paper to show other CM's in the park (after they let you in). At around 7:55 they let us into the park and directed everyone with a BOG ADR to the right of the castle, toward where Merida meets. The path near Sleepy Hollow on the left of the castle is currently closed and blocked off. You check in again at BOG and go into the restaurant. I highly recommend pre ordering! You then confirm your preorder and make any changes, pay, and seat yourself.

I hope you can get an ADR for two extra people. With the way they handle the PPO reservations I can't see how they would allow the other two into the park to even try to get seated. The CMs at the gate scan magic bands to verify ADRs and the CMs seem to really watch everyone in the park PPO. They don't let people just "roam".

Since everyone with a PPO ADR is let in at the same time, the reservation for two doesn't have to be at or near 8:40 - any PPO time would work. If park hours change and MK opens at 8:00 that day, they would need to be close in time.

thanks for all the advice. Maybe I will call the Dining Reservation line and plead my case to add 2 on and see if they can work any magic.
