Bodyglide, unscented solid deo or Monistat chafing creme?

I love BodyGlide too. Like "Patsal" said -- other products may not be made to use for chafing -- but BodyGlide is.

I swear by BodyGlide which can be bought online and at many stores. My feet never felt better.

PS: I gotta find some of this Anti Monkey Butt stuff - sounds like a great gag gift! :rotfl: Hey I found it at http://www.antimonkeybutt.com/ - sounds like great stuff (but it still will be fun for a gag gift!)

Hey Beckysc, yep used it for swimming as well and it worked! :thumbsup2

On an amusing, but embarrasing side note: When I was looking for Body Glide at this hunting supply store, they did one of those store intercom announcements, asking for the Anti Monkey Butt. It was like a flashback to being a teenager, and having a price check on feminine hygiene products!

Oh gosh! Heh, I have one that'll make you feel better, though. When I first went looking for Bodyglide I was unaware that you couldn't just by it at a local drugstore.. So, I head out to my local Wahlgreens (or was it CVS?) and ask where their Bodyglide is. The guy at the counter gives me this funny look, turns beet red and tells me that if they have that product it'll be on aisle whatever (I don't remember the number). So, I make for the aisle only to discover that I'm on the aisle with pregnancy tests and contraceptives.. Then I realize why the guy was blushing, he thought I was asking for a..um.. personal lubricant product. :lmao:

And with my 8 year old in tow, no less. :rotfl2:

I also got a couple of strange looks when I asked at a couple of local sporting good stores if they sold Bodyglide. :rotfl2: I quickly explained that it was for chafing and blisters. :teeth: They would then get a look of relief and tell me they didn't carry it. One of the stores said it sat on their shelves for months and they finally clearenced it out for .99 cents just to get rid of it. :sad2: I ended up ordering it from Drugstore.com and I'm hoping it comes in before we leave on Saturday.

Careful with that deodorant, It is not supposed to be placed on the entire body and can cause swelling, additional irritation and even in extreme cases death. Body glide works well as does the monostat, body glide as a solid travels better than the nonstat (gel liguid). Also body glide looks like a deo. container so it slides into your bag easier.

...death by deoderant?

Is body glide similar to the foot products/anti-blister you can buy?
