I have read a bunch of replies on this board regarding Body Glide. My husband tends to get HUGE blisters on his feet everytime we go to WDW. I would like to include Body Glide in our bag of tricks. But I have yet to find it in the stores where I live. I wish I can say it is a small town but it isn't. Minneapolis. So where do you all find that miracle stuff? I am stumped.

I get it from amazon.com. I use it every trip and I have never gotten a blister in 8 trips :thumbsup2.

Speed Stick from Mennen works just about as well as Body Glide. Of course, then you smell like men's speed stick.;)

"Richards" Sporting Goods :rotfl:

(it won't let me write it)

They normally have it in weird spots on an aisle... just ask someone :)

That stuff is amazing!!

I bought some BandAid Blister Glide at Target...it is a small package hanging near the bandaids...I think it was about $4.99 but I might be wrong on the price...
Hope that helps! Danielle

LOL! My husband chafes like crazy but he was too embarrassed to try to find some of this before our trip last year :) He was like- "what am I going to look like asking somebody at the check out for 'bodyglide'"? :rotfl2:

I ended up picking it up for him. As a woman, I buy enough embarassing things to not worry about it like he did :)

Sporting goods stores often carry it. Ask a sales person (they usually carry it in the "runners' area).

Wow there are a lot of choices on Amazon. I bought my son something called monkey butt before boy scout camp last summer but he forgot to take it with him so I don't know if it works. I plan on stocking up on body glide before our next trip. I really don't want to get blisters again. I also bought some cool max socks at Footlocker the other day.

I work at a boy scout camp and have used Anti-monkey butt, it works well but its messy to apply to places other than your feet.

I love that someone else has heard of this stuff. Guess I missed the word anti. Pretty important there since you probably aren't actually trying to get a monkey butt.:rotfl:

WOW!!!! How I wish I would have seen this the last time I went omg it would have saved so much pain..It says on the website that it is sold at Academy Sports so I am going to pick up a couple of things of it for our next vacay..This site has taught me so much...I sure wish I would have found this site before I went last time :yay:

We have found that sometimes Academy has it and sometimes they don't. Pretty much every small specialty bicyclist or jogger's store in our area carries it, so you might try those. We have also ordered it online. I got blisters every WDW trip too, no matter what shoes I wore. Learned about Body Glide on the DIS and I have had 4 blister free WDW trips and 1 blister free DL trip. OP, if your DH gets blisters every time he gets new shoes (I used to), it is great for that too. I use it every time I get a new pair until they are broken in, and it has saved me from a ton of blisters I would have gotten without it!

Our Dick's Sporting Goods no longer sells the Body Glide anti chafing brand. They now sell the Mission anti friction lotion/gel. I used it on my trip last Sept. It does not work near as well as the Body Glide brand though. I came back and ordered the Body Glide online and trashed the Mission brand one.

Ok that made me LOL!
Oh my goodness. I am so stupid. I just got it. Wow.

I looked into the BandAid Blister Glide at Target on a recommendation from the Dis and it was TINY! I thought it wouldn't last long enough for me! I was miserable with chafing in October. I'm going in May this time. I can imagine I'm going to sweat more in those odd places I never sweat in Ohio. I found a deodorant stick size one (not travel size) on Amazon for $13.98, and got free shipping b/c I ordered something else with it.
