Has anyone eaten here lately?

They are still showing Grilled Filet Mignon on their menu and was just wondering if this has changed.

We have reservations at Planet Hollywood and I'm thinking of changing them to Boatwright's.

Thanks for any input!

:cool1: :hippie: We did get the Filet Mignon last Sept. but then that was almost a year ago. I see it is still on Allears menu so i think they would have it and wouldn't pull it for free dinning period cause like I sad we had it last year and it was the free dinnng period. Looking for a good steak for 1TS try Le Cellier or the NY Strip at Coral Reef or Steak and shrimp at Teppen Edo.

We stayed at POR in march and ate at boatwrights on our last night and it was surprisingly great. I had the filet and it was perfect....my daughter had the jambalaya and it's now her favorite meal!! definitely do this over planet hollywood......
you won't regret it.

I'll voice the opposite opinion. We ate there during our last trip and were disappointed. The food was mediocre OK by Disney standards. Also, the concierge we booked the reservations through hyped it up, advertised a great amount of variety....the menu was pretty small and mediocre and the atmosphere was not what we were looking for at all.

YMMV, of course.

We ate at Boatwright's last September for our last evening meal before we left the next morning. It was by far the worse meal of our trip. My husband and I both had steak and neither one of them were cooked anywhere near the way we asked; our waitress was very unfriendly--she said the bare minimum in words; it was way too loud--couldn't even hear my DH speak right across from me and the Host was the rudest person I've ever encountered at Disney. It, along with H&V, are on our never to do list again. However, we will be trying it for breakfast next year (not this trip) as DH wants to try the sweet potato pancakes.
