Boatwrights? Any Views.

Can anyone give me there opinion on the above restaurant.

Boatwright's is great for breakfast. We ate there 3 mornings when we stayed at POR. The banana stuffed french toast and sweet potato pancakes were very good. Boatwright's is only a little more expensive than the food court and takes about the same amount of time. We had ADR's for 2 mornings and walked up on the 3rd. We did not try Boatwright's for dinner.

I've been to dinner twice at Boatwrights and both times it was an enjoyable experience. The service was friendly and helpful, the food was prepared well and was very tasty, the deserts looked great. If you go on a night that they have entertainment (Bob) in the River Roost lounge then you will have a full night of fun and food. The only negative is that it is a little loud, but then again it's not designed to be an intimate dinner. By the way, they have a great pot roast.

If your staying at Port Orleans it's a must do. We've also never had trouble walking right into the restaurant or having a short wait.

Had pretty much the same experience as jackmac. Good food, reasonable prices, and was able to get in w/o adr. We walked up and were told about 30 min wait, so we went and ordered a drink, but in like 10 min we were being seated, and had to track down our drinks.....
The restaurant is kind of open to the rest of the main area (3/4 walls, so you could somewhat see and hear what others were having in the food court)
But Good...I'd recommend.

We love it here. Sweet Potato pancakes are a must try,also french toast. We are DVC members and usually stay at BWV but I now make it a point to come here for breakfast at least once per trip.
